Our Process

Our process makes it easy to get outstanding jewelry photography.

Having shot tens of thousands of pieces for dozens of brands, we’ve learned a thing or two about what it takes to create exceptional jewelry photos. As a result, we have developed a streamlined workflow to simplify the photography process and keep costs low, while giving you as much flexibility as you want. Start by exploring our website to see samples of our work, learn about us, our services and pricing, then follow the steps below to get started.

1. Order

Choose from our services and order directly from our website using our quote request form or contact us to get started your project.

2. SHIP

Ship us your (new or cleaned) jewelry samples via your preferred carrier – once received, we inspect the pieces and touch base with you to review the order details.

3. SHOOT

We light, style and shoot your samples in our specially designed jewelry photography studio using our expert knowledge and specialized equipment.

4. Review

Once everything is shot, we’ll send you raw image proofs to review and approve for editing. Keep only what you like – we never charge for images you don’t want.*

5. EDIT

We skillfully edit and retouch your approved selections to ensure the finished photos look  absolutely flawless.**

6. APPROVE

We send you proofs of your beautiful, finished images via email for admiration (and final approval).

7. PAY

A detailed invoice is sent to you via email – we accept a Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Paypal, Stripe or classic checks.

8. DOWNLOAD

Once payment is received, we’ll send you a link to download your full-size images (for print or design) and small copies (for social media, web and email).

9. RETURN

Email us a return shipping label via your preferred carrier and we carefully pack and promptly ship your samples back to you.***

* In the unlikely event that you’re not completely happy with the images, we will gladly re-shoot them at no additional cost, provided the mistake was our fault.  Any special requests (styling, positioning angles, lighting etc.) must be made prior to start of photography, or re-shooting fees will apply. **Editing includes: 16 bit raw processing; fine-tuning white balance, color, contrast, brightness, shadows; removing background; cleaning up and retouching minor distractions such as scratches, blemishes, spots and highlights; smoothing kinks or harsh edges; selective and global sharpening; cropping, resizing and optimizing. Turnaround time depends of quantity, difficulty, and schedule, but is generally 1-2 weeks once proofs are approved.   
*** No time to deal with return labels? We’ll take care of it for an additional $25 handling fee plus shipping cost (we use Fed Ex).
